Recommended audience
Pivit is not designed for children. On current Apple operating systems, unrestricted web access generally maps to a 16+ rating; on older systems and in some regions, the displayed rating can differ. The App Store product page is the source of truth for your region and device.
Why the rating is higher
A browser can reach websites and user-created content outside the developer’s control, including content unsuitable for minors. Pivit includes ad and tracker blocking, but it is not a parental-control or age-verification service and cannot guarantee the suitability of the open web.
Tools for families
Families can use Apple Screen Time, content restrictions, purchase approval, and network-level controls to manage a device. A parent or guardian should review installed userscripts, downloaded files, media, browsing access, and Pivit Pro purchases.
